Wilda Faye Daniel

Faye worked at various companies where she maintained their data processing systems and managed their payroll. She worked as the company comptroller at Revere Control Systems before retiring to spend more time with her grandchildren. Faye was married to Charles Daniel, Sr. until his passing in February 2024. She was blessed with four children, Rick Daniel, Eddie Daniel, Melanie McCombs and Heath Daniel. She also had many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Faye was affectionately referred to within the family as “Nana.” She loved shopping, going to NASCAR races, gambling, Beanie Babies, and trips to the beach although she was not one for being in the hot outdoors! Most of all Faye loved her Alabama Crimson Tide!

Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Daniel, Sr., her mother, Helen Perry, her brother, Gary Perry, her daughter, Melanie McCombs. Survived by her sister, Kathy Wallace and her brother, Allen Perry, children, Rick Daniel (Jennifer), Eddie Daniel (Cindy) and Heath Daniel (Casey); 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Rest in peace Nana.

A visitation for Faye will be held Monday, July 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.

Faye will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum, Gardendale, AL.
