STATON, William Richard, age 71 of Pinson, AL, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lu Staton; children, Robin Campbell (Kevin), Bill Staton (Jennifer) and Susan Reid (Eddie); Grandchildren, Cassie, Beth (Brandon), Kala (Jared), Brooke, Dallas and Heather (James); one great granddaughter, Riley; and numerous nieces and nephews. A chapel service will be held on Friday, December 28th at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tim Thompson will be officiating. Visitation for Mr. Staton will be on Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m.
