

Bernard "Johnny" Wilkinson passed away Tuesday May 22, 2007 at the age of 76 in his home in Georgetown, Texas. Johnny was born in Carthage, Mississippi November 1, 1930 to Lewis C. Wilkinson and Alice M. Donald. He moved to Texas in the early 1950's where he followed the trade of dry wall, texturing and home painting. He moved to Georgetown in the early 1990's where he worked for the Georgetown Hospital in the maintenance department as a painter for about 13 years. Johnny loved to fish the Colorado River, Lake Georgetown or wherever he could drop a line in. During the hunting season he loved to take off to the hill country to hunt white tail deer. He was known for always telling a joke and trying to pull a prank on someone. Johnny is preceded in death by parents Lewis C. Wilkinson and Alice M. Donald; sister Bonnie Shaw; brother Cosper Wilkinson; sister Georgeia Wilcher and sister Doblelee McThil. He is survived by daughter Kimberly Wilkinson-Crews; granddaughter Ella Katherin Salisbury; stepdaughter Patricia Hass; stepdaughter Carolyn Cauley; stepson David Pavliska; nieces Pattsy Wilkinson and Linda Wade; nephews Charles Shaw, Ricky Wilkinson and David Wilkinson and long time friend and family Ethel Ray Speir and many more Texas family. Memorial services will be held at the Gabriels Funeral Home on Saturday June 2, 2007 at 10:00am.
