Carlyn Victoria Elliott

Carlyn V. Elliott, 95, of Georgetown, formerly of Florence, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH35, Georgetown, Texas. Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2009 at 11:00AM at Florence City Cemetery in Florence, Texas. Carlyn a native Texan was born in Cooksville, Texas in Titus County on December 4, 1913 to the late Alfred Newton and Mabel Thomas Kennedy. She is also preceded in death by her two brothers and one sister; and her husband of 63 years, Doss Thomas Elliott. Carlyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children, Johnny Doss Elliott and his wife Maxine, of Brady, Mike Elliott and his wife Shirley, of Cedar Park, and Kerry Patrick Elliott and his wife Debra, of Manor; brother, Billy Keith Walker and his wife Dorothy, of Hawaii, sister, June Laurent, of California; 9 grandchildren, Kathy Binder and husband Tom, Johnny Mack Elliott, Ricky Elliott, Kerry Lynn Doss Elliott, Bret Elliott and wife Susan, Stefanie Jordan and husband Keith, James Elliott-Aldridge, Jeremy Elliott-Aldridge and wife Autmn, and Dylan Thomas Warren; 10 great grandchildren and one on the way, Shawn Razani and wife Amanda, Sheena Stickney and husband John, Ty Elliott, Amber Elliott, Jenna Elliott, Kourtney Jordan, Emarie Aldridge, Colton Jordan, Clay Elliott, Kaelyn Aldridge; one great-great grandchild, Savannah Razani; along with many other loving family members.
