

Curtis Louis Stabeno Curtis Louis Stabeno of Georgetown, Texas passed away on March 9, 2007. Curtis was born in Holland, Texas on June 2, 1918 to Will and Norma(Meissner) Stabeno. Curtis was a lifetime resident of the area and lived in his home in Georgetown for 64 years.. Curtis and Elenora ( Homeyer ) were married on September 15, 1940 in Walburg, Texas. Curtis was a self-employed Farmer, Rancher and Carpenter. Curtis is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elenora Stabeno of Georgetown, Texas, Sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Lorey Stabeno and Danny and Angie Stabeno both of Georgetown, Texas, Daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and J.C. Chambers of Georgetown, Texas, Grandchildren, Kevin Stabeno and his wife, Michelle of Austin, TX, Dawn Copeland and her husband, Tim of Jarrell, Texas, Christopher Stabeno and his wife, Marci of Burleson, Texas, Katelyn Buckley and her husband Roger of Round Rock, Texas, Justin Chambers of San Antonio, Texas and Allison Chambers and her Fiance’, Beau Taylor of Austin, Texas, seven Great grandchildren, Sister, Pearl (Stabeno) Homeyer of Georgetown and numerous nieces and nephews. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, and a Sister Lillian Behrens. Visitation will be held at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel, Georgetown, Texas on Sunday, March 11, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Services will be at Christ Lutheran Church in Georgetown, Texas on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas. Pallbearers are Justin Chambers, Christopher Stabeno, Kevin Stabeno, Roger Buckley, Tim Copeland, Beau Taylor. Memorials and donations may be made to the Wesleyan Nursing Home, Georgetown, Texas or Christ Lutheran Church where Curtis was a longtime member or (“ROCK”) the Ride on Center for Kids.
