James Ray "Doc" Farley

J. Ray “Doc” Farley, D.D.S., was united with his Heavenly Father on Friday, November 27, 2009. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, Texas. A service celebrating Doc’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel. Interment will be on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas. Doc was born September 24, 1933 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Clarence Raymond and Lucile Randall Farley. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Sharilyn and his son, Mark Ray Farley. Doc served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Doc practiced dentistry for over 44 years, his most recent practice in Round Rock, Texas. Doc leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Joanie Farley; son, Kevin Farley and his wife Dee Ann, daughter, Leeann Rendall and her husband John; his step children, Dabra Schulz and her husband Dean and Robert Witt and wife Ruby; his twelve grandchildren, Lauren Farley, Rachel Farley, Spencer Farley, Jonathan Farley, Autumn Rendall, Pierce Rendall, Crystal Meier, Chad Meier, Bobby Witt and wife Tabatha, Michael Witt and his wife Vickie, Kurt Witt, and Dustin Witt; and three great grandchildren, Halie Meier, Blake Witt, Dillion Witt, Destiny Witt; along with many other loving family members and friends.
