James "Jim" Daniel Snow

James Daniel Snow, lovingly known to most as "Jimmy", 74 of Sun City Georgetown passed away on August 6, 2014 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. A memorial celebration will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at The Florence Room in Sun City, Texas. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date in Jersey Village, Texas. James was born June 25, 1940 in Baytown, Texas to the late James Virgil and Margaret Carrie Tidwell Snow. Jimmy spent most of his life in the Houston area working as an insurance agent. He had a passion for golf and enjoyed many hours on the Jersey Meadows Golf Course in Jersey Village, Texas. Jimmy also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Moving to Sun City Georgetown in 2010 Jimmy remained in close contact with his buddies, Roger Taylor, Scottie Crow, Bert Coan, and Julian Tucker, they were like his brothers. His parents, Virgil and Margaret Snow, preceded Jimmy in death. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory his son, James E. Snow and his wife Jenny; his grandchildren, Hayden, Liam and Connan; his stepson, Damon Klutts and his wife Lisa; his companion, Ruth Bailey; along with numerous other loving friends and family. Memorials in Jimmy's name should be sent to the Alzheimer's Foundation to further research.
