

In Loving Memory of Lenora Claire Haynes Beck Lenora Beck, 63 of Round Rock, Texas went to her eternal resting place Wednesday, December 23, 2009. She suffered from a lengthy battle with congestive heart failure. She is preceded in death by her father Leonard Stallard Haynes and survived by her mother Ina Claire Vest Haynes, sister Janet Yvonne Haynes Box, two children Kelli Elizabeth Beck , Alex Edward Beck, her grandson’s mother Misty Wolff Alexander, her grandson Blake Alexander Wolff-Beck, her grandson’s sisters, Alicia and Alyne Alexander, her niece Lisa C. Box, her nephew Derrick E. Box, and her granddog Buster Lee Beck. Lenora was born on July 20, 1946 in Lexington, Ky. She grew up in Houston, TX and attended St. Rose of Lima Elementary and graduated from St. Pius X high school in 1964. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, TX. Lenora was a faithful servant of Our Lord and had an incredible devotion to Our Lady, the Virgin Mary. She was active in innumerable projects such as Our Mother of Compassion and Love prayer group, The Gabriel Project, and The Devine Mercy Center. She lived her faith as many of us aspire to. She was also very involved in the Republican Party. In the 1980’s she held many offices in the Aransas County Republican Women’s party and served as a delegate to the State Convention. Most of all Lenora Claire Haynes Beck loved and cared for her family and friends. She was an especially amazing mother and grandmother. Words cannot describe what an incredibly special woman she was. Her departure from this earth will leave beautiful memories for many. Visitation and Rosary will take place on Monday, December 28, 2009 from 6pm-8pm at The Gabriel’s Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, TX. A funeral mass will be held at St. Williams Church in Round Rock, TX on December 29, 2009 at 2pm. Graveside services will be held immediately following at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown, TX. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to AIM Hospice in Rockport, TX and to St. Williams Church designating The Gabriel Project as recipient. A special thank you goes out to the doctors and nursing staff at Heart Hospital of Austin and the staff at AIM Hospice in Rockport, TX. Their loving care helped us through this difficult time.
