

Mary was born on September 10, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas. She was adopted by Alfred Pulsford a few days later from the church. She experienced life head on. She grew up in San Antonio and lived in boarding school there, where she met her lifelong friends at Blessed Sacrament grades 3-12 and Incarnet Word College. In school, she was the captain of her volleyball team, swim team, and softball team. She was a drum majorette and led several parades in San Antonio. She was valedictorian of her class.
She had her father, aunts, and uncles to share life experiences, who preceded them in heaven: Alfred Pulsford, Raymond Pulsford, Elizabeth Pulsford, George Pulsford and Helen Pulsford. She met her husband, Harold Don Henry and married on October 21, 1961. They were married for 62 years. Mary is survived by her husband, Don, 3 children and their spouses: Don and Sharon Henry, Donna and Mike Brandel, and Bobby and Susan Henry. Their children are: Leiha and Bradley Jackson, Brianna and Blaine Rivas, Logan Henry, Kyle Sample and Sarah Skillern. Mary also has 2 great grandchildren: Maddox Rivas and Blakely Rivas. Mary worked as a secretary, realtor, and homemaker. She loved most being around family and friends. She loved to sing and play the piano, enjoyed volunteering in church and was a part of various activities with the ladies club, bible study, bereavement committee, and with her husband in the Knights of Columbus. She found pleasure in drawing, painting, sewing, and putting together flower arrangements. She was an avid reader. She was ultra-competitive and loved to play cards, dominoes, and any other game with which she could compete. She was a true champion. She passed away at 83 years of age surrounded by her loved ones.
