Stanley Ray White died at his home in Georgetown, Texas on October 18th, 2019 after a long battle with heart and kidney issues. He was born on May 8, 1952 in Monahans Texas to Robert and Katherine White. He moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas where he met his wife of 44 years - Nancy Nuckolls White. They moved to Georgetown in 1975 to raise their growing family where they ran several businesses including the Candle Factory for many years.
He grew up as the middle child of 5 and is survived by his brothers Robert (Bobby) White of Bryan, Texas and James White of San Antonio, his sisters Katherine (Kitty) Reich of Houston, Texas and J’Nevelyn (Jev) White of Midland, Texas, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Many of his activities centered around his wife and their five sons: Thomas Blom and Traci Salvo, Hans and Ann Kristin Blom, Scott and Heather White, Michael and Christina White and Josh and Melissa White. One of his biggest joys was his 17 grandchildren with their sticky hugs and endless questions: Christopher, Taylor, Till, Tristan, Amanda, Wolfgang, Austin, Lise Kristin, Kate, Xavier, Zane, Maddux, Xander, Mia, Connor, Everly, and Blaze.
The family invites you to a visitation on Saturday, October 26th from 3-5 PM. The service will be Sunday, October 27th at 11 AM. Both will be held at Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas.
