

Sue Pearson, 67 formerly of Georgetown, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010 in Richardson, Texas after a yearlong courageous battle with lung cancer. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown. A service celebrating Sue’s life will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 11:00AM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery, honoring her memory as pallbearers will be, Kyle Ogden, Gary Lee Williams, Jr., Bryce Morgan-Forrester, Bryant Morgan-Forrester, Phillip Forrester, Sr. and Rick Faught. Honorary pallbearers are The Highland Girls, Betty Lostak, Marie Eby, and Dorothy Bryant. Sue was born August 30, 1942 in Baytown, Texas. Sue was raised in the Highlands area in the Houston area, graduating from Robert E. Lee. She married Charles “Chuck” Pearson on April 24, 1982 in Farmers Branch, Texas. Sue worked for Commercial Credit Corporation and A+ Federal Credit Union for many years. She was a resident of Georgetown since 1985, until moving to Livingston in 2000. Sue moved to the Dallas area a few months ago to continue her battle with lung cancer. Her grandchildren were her life, she enjoyed spending time with them and watching them grow. Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Williams and Zodie King Williams; her husband of 17 years Chuck Pearson; and her sister, Charlotte Lynn Istre. Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Donna Thoene and her children, Lauren Thoene and Shelby Thoene; her son, Darron Jones and his son, Anthony Jones; her brothers, Gary Williams and wife Becky, and Roger Williams and wife Christine; her sister, Karen Thompson and husband Mitch; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and a host of friends.
