Val Gene Parker, Sr.

Val married Linda M. Price on June 28, 1958. Four children resulted from this 57-year marriage.

He worked for the Truck and Coach division of GMC for 28-1/2 years and was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Val was preceded in death by his son, Val G. Parker, Jr., his parents, his 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Left to survive Val are his wife and children, April Arms (Randy), Melody Cribbs (J.D.), and Raeann Longtine (Rodney). He is also survived by grandchildren, Tom Arms, Kristina Hernandez, Mike and Shawn Parker, Angel Beaver, Ken Parker, Ashley Richards, Rodney Longtine, and Anita Cribbs as well as by his daughter-in-law, Ginger Sue Parker, his adored niece Twila Clark and also his 12 great grandchildren.

He loved and cherished his family above everything else.

Visitation will take place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, TX. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 14 at the IOOF Cemetery, Georgetown, TX.
