

After graduating from Crane High School, Bill received his civil engineering degree from Texas Technical College (Texas Tech University) in 1961 where he was a charter member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Bill Retired as an area engineer after working 30 years with the Texas Department of Transportation. He was a dedicated member of the Georgetown Evening Lions Club. He and his loving wife, Patsy Teel Glenn, shared 66 years of marriage and three children, Al, Jeff and Kathleen.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mabel Glenn, his brother Jim Glenn, sister Janelle Allen and his infant son Gregory Wayne Glenn.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Patsy, three children; Al (Candy) Glenn, Jeff (Theresa) Glenn, and Kathleen (Walt) Bruning; grandchildren Samantha Glenn, A.J. Glenn (fiancée Alyssa), Pricilla Doupnik (Brian), Nicole Dial (Clifford), Preston Glenn, Julia Glenn, Morgan Hammell (David), Lance Bruning and 1 great granddaughter Lillie Hammell. Also surviving are his sister Sue Lawson, cousin Tom (Johnny) Lutrell, special friends Lynn and Bryce Ann Passmore and Jan and Gary Gregory as well as other nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A celebration of life service for Bill is scheduled for Friday, February 6, 2026, at 11:00 am at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown.
