Anna Elisabeth Braunwalder

Annalies was born in Frick, Switzerland to Gustav and Anna Binkert. Annelies lived in Switzerland until her late twenties, when she married Ernst "Ernest" Braunwalder on December 27, 1956 and immigrated to Southern California. She resided in Covina for 10 years and Glendora for 58 years. Ernest and Annalies were lifelong companions and friends, married for 60 years. They were blessed with 6 beautiful children and Annelies spent her years as a devoted mother, wife, and homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, Church, and tending to her beautiful garden. She was very proud of the family that she and her husband created and loved them all dearly. She was also a great friend to all.

Annelies was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Braunwalder (89) and grandson, Clifton Braunwalder (13). She is survived by her children, Ernie Braunwalder (Juanita), Roland Braunwalder (Anita), Bernhard Braunwalder (Sylvia), Norbert Braunwalder (Sondra) MArvin Braunwalder (Tina) and Sylvia Myers (Steve); along with 21 grandchildrenand 31 great-grandchildren.

Viewing with Rosary, Monday, April 14, 5-8PM at Oakdale Mortuary in Glendora with funeral mass on Tuesday April 15, 10AM Saint Louise De Marillac Catholic Church, 1720 E. Covina Blvd, Covina 91724. Burial immediately folling Oakdale Memorial Park.
