Dee Klinkenborg of Glendora, California, passed away on May 5, 2014 at the age of 95. She was born on November 25, 1918 in Summerfiled, Oklahoma as Opal Dee Deere. She was married to Alfred Edward Klinkenborg on September 9, 1944 in Riverside, California. She was a school teacher with a Master's Degree, a homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian church.
Services were held on Wednesday, May 14, at Oakdale Memorial Park with Pastor Jim Miller of Glenkirk Presbyterian Church and were followed by interment at the Oakdale Cemetery.
Survivors of Mrs. Klinkenborg include: two sons, Mr. Roger Klinkenborg, Norco, CA; and Mr. Rex Linkenborg, Winchester, Ca; and five grandchildren. Family members and friends served as pallbearers.
P.S. Dee worked in an aircraft factory in Santa Monica, building fighter planes during WWII- "Rosie the Riveter."
