Frank was born on December 3, 1949 in Tecuala, Nayarit to Hilario Betancourt and Graciela Jimenez
He served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1973. In that time he became a citizen of the United States of America. On June 6, 1970, he married Carmelita Bustos. They raised three children: Angela, Regina, and Francisco Jr.
Frank had a passion for the outdoors – camping, fishing, and shooting. He loved tinkering around in his garage and was an all around handy man and mechanic. He knew the importance of home basics and would teach anyone who asked for guidance. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious laugh, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Frank is survived by his wife Carmelita, his three children,Angela, Regina (husband Phillip), Frank Jr., his four grandchildren, Miranda, Phillip Jr., Alexis, Marissa, three great grandchildren, Phillip, Natalia, Malia, and his sisters, Grace, Victoria, Susana, and Silvia.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 18th at 9:00 am at Oakdale Cemetary, 1401 S. Grand Avenue, Glendora, CA 91740.
