My name is Daniel and I was one of Franks coworkers, but more than that we were true homies. Thinking back to the day I met him while I was at work holding a advertising sign in the corner...he came up to me asking how I got my job and if I knew somebody who was hiring because he needed a job. I said I did and he was working right next to me on that corner for almost a whole year. He found a better job at a glassblowing company and I found a better job at a bullet manufacturing company but they let me go after a month. During this time my step-daughter had a brain aneurysm and I was at the hospital with my wife all day for a whole month. Frank being the good friend that he is, called me and asked how I was doing so I mentioned everything how I was glad my step-daughter made it through and she was recovering but I had lost my job. Somehow someway he got me into the glassblowing company right away within a few days. I'm so grateful for opportunity that he gave me. Little by little we both moved up in ranks in the company and before we knew it were blowing glass making good money and a career out of it. When we would hang out and drink some beer we would reminisce of the days when we were at the corner holding a sign for minimum wage. Frank was a hardworking man who loved his family and friends. He would always talk about his kids. I admired how much he loved Makayla and how he had the same love for her as his own kids. I'm gonna miss him. We would motivate each other at work and when things were looking down we would cheer each other up and some some weed to ease our stress. I had dreams of one day having my own shop and having Frank be my partner. Sadly that will never happen. I have his picture on the wall at work so he can see me making art. I will dedicate my work to him, he is the reason I am on the torch and I wish I could see him one more time but I know one day I will in heaven. Until then homie may you Rest In Peace in heaven with your son and I know you will be looking after your kids. Look after mine too homie. I will miss you dearly and everyone at work will too. Thanks for the good memories and the good times loco.

I'm not really sure where to begin or if my heart could truly ever mend.  

You were my little bro.
I know if love alone could have saved you, we'd  never have to say goodbye. 

I look at the door and wait for you to appear with a big hug and smile, and go have a beer. 

Then I realize you're gone and everything feels so wrong.  

I know our bond is strong and you'll always be right by my side. I try to fight back the tears, but these emotions are getting harder to hide. 

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God took you home. 

In the arms of our grandpa and with your baby boy, these thoughts of peace I try to let bring me joy. 

We know we'll meet again and 
I know in a better place, but until then I cherish our memories. 
I love you so much; you just don't know,
No matter what, you'll always be my little bro.
