I met Guillermo at Nordstrom Santa Monica in 2023 . His quiet and assuring presence always helped to make us feel safe in our department. I would like to send my deepest condolences to his family and friends. Truly sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

Ive worked with Guillermo in the Asset Protection in Nordstrom Santa Monica. I seen him going from an ambassador to an agent he’s always have everyone back and keeping us safe including mine. I’ve had a really hard time hearing about this news and it’s really difficult to process. He was such an amazing energetic soul who would just love to laugh and smile bringing positive environment. May your soul rest in peace buddy. May the lord and savior take good gracious care of your soul. I will never forget you. I will never forget the laughs and energy you bring to me and to our friends. My condolences to the beautiful family of Guillermo’s. Rest in peace buddy.

Just hearing about Guillermo’s passing today was jarring and disheartening. Just working alongside him you can tell he was such a caring and loving soul, I can only imagine what his family is going through and I’m praying for you. He was a proud marine and a hard worker regardless of the setting, he always cracked a smile or a joke even in moments of seriousness when it was needed. You were one hell of a guy Mimo, a lot of us here at Nordstrom are keeping you our thoughts.

Worked with Guillermo at Nordstrom in Santa Monica …but more than that 
We laughed together..working security together we always had each others back..
We Handled very difficult situations together and tried to help people who needed it most
That’s how I’ll remember him..helping people who needed it and doing it with dignity 
Hearing the news today really broke my heart, such a young caring and all around great guy.. ..I’ll never forget him…

I have just heard the news of Guillermo’s passing. He used to process the shipment for my floor and also worked in asset protection. He was indeed a great asset to the team and I can honestly say everyone that worked with him at Nordstrom is sad to hear the news. May he rest in peace and my condolences goes out to the family.

I worked with Guillermo at Nordstrom and I can honestly say, he was universally adored. I think about him every time I spray my eyeglasses (he used to come in our department every morning to do that). I am heartbroken to hear of his passing, and I send his family my most sincere sympathy.

My deepest condolences to Guillermo’s family. I served with Escobar in Okinawa as one of his Sergeants. He was such a great kid. Losing him has really taken a toll on me. We had birthdays only 3 days apart. I specifically remember 5 years ago when he and some friends threw a surprise birthday for me. It meant so much to me that he was apart of it. I did my best to mentor him and guide him through his time in Okinawa. It pains me that I can’t be there in person to support. I will continue to keep all of his family in my prayers. If you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to reach out.
