Jose was born August 20, 1937 in Mexico. He was an avid soccer player in his youth and a lifelong aficionado.
He enjoyed life to the fullest and possessed a sense of humor second to none, which he shared with his loved ones until his final days. He was a kind and generous man with an unparalleled work ethic, who never hesitated to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife, five children and spouses, and four grandchildren.
