Juan Gomez-Villalvazo

Juan Gomez- Villalvazo was born on August 13, 1953, in Atoyac, Jalisco to Salvador Gomez and Maria Villalvazo, as their first born son among eleven children. Taking on the role of the eldest, Juan embraced the responsibility of assisting his father in providing for his family, which ultimately hindered his education.

In pursuit of the American dream, Juan immigrated to the United States, where he began a career in construction, dedicating over 30 years.

He married his cherished wife, Francisca, and together they raised four daughters, instilling in them numerous values, with a particular emphasis in hard work and honesty.

Juan found joy in various aspects of life including; being a grandfather, reading about history, watching soccer and baseball, music, gardening, and bringing his family together through home-cooked meals.

He passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, leaving a lasting legacy. Juan's legacy will endure through his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Juan Gomez-Villalvazo nació el 13 de Agosto de 1953 en Atoyac, Jalisco a Salvador Gómez y María Villalvazo, como su primogénito entre once hijos. Asumiendo el papel del mayor, Juan asumió la responsabilidad de ayudar a su padre, lo que finalmente obstaculizó su educación.

En busca del sueño americano, Juan emigró a los Estados Unidos, donde inició su carrera en la construcción, dedicando más de 30 años.

Se casó con su querida esposa, Francisca, y juntos criaron a cuatro hijas, inculcandoles numerosos valores, con especial énfasis en ser trabajadoras y la honestidad.

Juan encontró alegría en varios aspectos de la vida, entre ellos; ser abuelo, leer sobre historia, ver fútbol y béisbol, música, jardinería y unir a su familia a través de comidas caseras.

Falleció el lunes 17 de Febrero de 2025, dejando un legado duradero. El legado de Juan perdurará a través de su familia y de todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
