

Linda Margaret Grams was a caring and dedicated sister, aunt, great aunt, mother, and friend. She passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2024 at the age of 83. Linda was born to Marguerite and Raymond Grams on May 14, 1941 in Whittier, California. She grew up in La Puente with her six brothers and sisters; Jim, Bob, Terry, Frank,Marge, and George. Linda graduated from El Monte High School in 1959. She furthered her education by attending Mount San Antonio College, California State University Los Angeles, and California Polytechnic University Pomona where she earned both her elementary education teaching credential and special education credential. Linda began her teaching career at St Louis of France School and Sacred Heart School. She continued her career with the El Monte School District at Columbia Elementary School and Rio Hondo Elementary School until she retired in June 2001 after 39 years of teaching.
Linda was a caring and dedicated teacher to all of her students and their families. Linda enjoyed traveling, spending time with her two sons Steven and Sam, supporting and advocating for the Special Olympics, attending and being a part of her church community at Immaculate Conception Church, and watching her beloved Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. A viewing is scheduled from 9:00 - 9:30 am followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am at Oakdale Mortuary and Memorial Park on August 16, 2024. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Special Olympics or a charity of your choice on her behalf.
