Lisa and I took this photo at Joshua Tree where we spent Christmas 2022 stargazing and hiking. It wasn’t planned and sort of a last minute thing, but the conversations we had by the bonfire and the time we spent reminiscing will forever hold a special place in my heart. She said that Christmas was one of the best she experienced in a long time. Her sister Lesly kept FaceTiming her throughout our trip and I saw how much joy those conversations brought her. In our 14 year friendship, I saw her go through many stages. No matter what, she was always a kind, caring and loving person.

I met Lisa playing basketball at Montclair High School. She was the biggest jokester and never failed to make me laugh. She was an amazing person and I am grateful to have known her.
