Ofelia’s unstoppable drive for higher education earned her a Bachelor's Degree from the University of La Vern, and opened doors throughout her career. She landed an opportunity to work with a great team at Viking Range, where she cultivated strong business relationships.
To know Ofelia is to love Ofelia.
She had a uniqueness to her, that you just could not help but adore her. Her smile was infectious and her beautiful energy made you feel loved without judgment. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends every moment she could. Ofelia always made sure everyone felt welcomed and appreciated in her presence. That meant, you can expect great food, dancing, singing and on occasion an adult beverage or two. There will never be anyone like Ofelia.
Destanie: To know love is to know my mom, Ofelia. She was a woman with the most profound love one can experience. She was always there when her family needed her the most, offering support, love, and encouragement. She will always be remembered as this light to all and will leave behind a legacy of kindness and strength. Her battle was hard , but she will forever be remembered as righteous. John 11:25 NKJV says Jesus said to her “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” Jesus promises that those who believe in him will have spiritual life, even if they face physical death. Until we meet again mom.
Valerie- Our mom was a very self driven woman who did everything in her power to make everyone around her happy. She always made sure her family was afloat. She was always the brightest in the room. We love her and miss her so much.
Melodie: Not only was she a mother, she was a motivator and she motivated us all to do better for ourselves and everyone around us. She was the most selfless person and always put family first. She always did everything in her power to see her daughters smile. You always felt a warm and comforting feeling even just being by her. She will forever be missed and will be our guardian angel watching over all of us.
We take solace in knowing she lives through her daughters and is at peace, resting in heaven with our heavenly father.
