She was born on February 11, 1929 in Russellville, Arkansas to George Mack Loyd and Frances Finchum Loyd. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Wayne Morris, brothers: Fred Loyd, Jeff Loyd, Charles Loyd, sister: Norma Wheeler, half brother: Neal Wilson and cousin Tom Wheeler.

As a child, Polly and her beloved life-long friend Lavada, helped their families in Russellville by picking cotton and harvesting peaches. After a vacation to Woodward, Iowa, Polly’s mom and family moved there in 1944. Soon after, prospects in California called Polly, her brother Charlie, and his wife Ordelia, leading them to eventually settle in Covina. There, Polly met and married the love of her life, Wayne Morris.
Polly spent most of her life as an accountant for Wayne’s Furniture and as a housewife extraordinaire. She could organize anything and would happily do it for anyone who asked. Her hobbies included solving word puzzles, watching game shows, and traveling the US and Canada with several friends including her cherished sister-in-lawOrdelia. She also treasured her time at Inter-Community Church of God, where she served on the board and took part in a bible study group. She was spirited, caring, and fun. We will miss her dearly.
Her funeral will be held at Oakdale Chapel (1401 S Grand Ave, Glendora, CA) on Wednesday July 19th at 11:00 AM. Pastor Dave Colett will conduct services. There is also a viewing on July 18th between 5:00PM and 8:00PM at the same location.
