Stephen James Smith

Steve attended Glendora schools and Citrus College before starting his career in the food and beverage industry. Patrons of "Don Jose's" in Glendora, California, "Brass Elephant" in Monrovia, California, "Brewster's" in Redlands, California, and the hundreds of travelers passing through the Ontario/ Los Angeles Airport, enjoyed his bartending talents, his "Dr. Phil" counseling and his great sense of humor. Steve was featured in the local newspaper as a "Mixologist Extraordinaire," and watching him mix a cocktail was an amazing and entertaining experience!

He was a member of the Cali SS/SoCal SS car clubs and took great pride in showing his '96 Caprice SS at the Impala SS events, winning many trophies and awards.

Steve was predeceased in death by his father Robert, his brother David Michael Smith and his step- father Edward V. Farrell, He is survived by his mother Winifred Farrell, his lover and friend of 22 years D. Stephanie Reynaga, their two children Sydney Marie Smith and Robert Smith, sister-in-law Thea Smith Champagne, his aunt Joan (Rogers) and uncle Belmont Reid, and Stephanie's daughter Tabetha (Carroll) Deal who he helped raise.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Mill Creek Cattle Co. in Mentone, California with he date and time to be announced. Please check their website for details.
