Theresia Caliva, born on April 13, 1937, in Frankenburg, Austria, passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 88, in her home, surrounded by family. Theresia, aka “Omie”, will be remembered most for her loving heart, her sweet spirit and the immense kindness she showed to everyone she met. She was a devoted mother, a cherished grandmother, and a treasured friend. Her politeness was more than good manners, it was an expression of her genuine warmth, respect and care for others. Theresia is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dottie and Roy Palomo, Pam and Jim Buchanan, Christa and Jason Thorpe, and her daughter-in-law Naomi Caliva, as well as thirteen grandchildren (Ryan, Brendan, Patrick, Mitchell, Shellby, Jake, Bailee, Nate, Kendahl, Mia, Hunter, Ellie and Ava) and two great-grandchildren (Smith and Colton). Theresia was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Caliva, and her son, Jeff.
She is missed beyond measure.
