Darlene was always so willing to help. She would go out of her way for you. Bruce and I loved working with her. Blruce always said hoe she helped him get thru that move to the high school that first year. Oh my gosh, the hot dogs she would make at lunch for money for that senior trip. Darlene gave of herself so much, always making something to treasure. On the last days of school, the counter would be lined up with things she made for her lucky student aides. (ceramic figurines, and fun crafts) We have so many treasures she made us for special occasions, and sometimes just because. Because of Darlene, I now have a life long hobby to enjoy...She taught me how to crochet. As my mentor, we spent a lot of time together as she patiently taught me. Painting ceramics, world class cross stich, and perfect crochet, She could do it all. And on top of that, she was always a loyal friend.

Willie and Family,
I am so sad about the passing of Darlene. I have such fond memories of her and am so grateful that I had the opportunity to know her and call her my friend.
She had such a caring and compassionate heart that will truly be missed by many!!!
Unfortunately, due to another commitment, I am unable to attend her memorial. I can assure you, my heart will be there.

Judy and I both have many fond memories of Darlene. I was in the Booster with her in the days when sports were being funded through the Club. She was a big help and a joy to work with. Judy and Darlene had many fun times in their card club days.
Our deepest sympathies go out to Willie and his family.

I want to express how sorry I am
In the passing of such a wonderful
Family loved one. Darlene was special to me for how much she helped me when I became a School Secretary for the GCD School District. She was the Seasoned Secretary that I went to often for advice and help learning the ropes of being a School Secretary. Never once did she not welcome my calls, or be happy to help me with a project. We did several training sessions and she was so much fun to be with. Darlene and Jeannie Beery worked with me to put on a Beautiful Wedding Reception for my Daughter in Coulee Dam. She was a very talented woman and proved it with how her and Jeannie turned a drab City Hall in to a beautiful Reception Hall. Darlene will be missed by so many people as she touched so many lives in such positive ways. Rest in Peace Darlene. .

I wanted to be sure and express my condolences to this ladys family. Darlene was so kind to me in High School. She was an excellent professional role model but also wasn't afraid to uphold or break the rules as she saw fit to meet the needs of us kids. I really really enjoyed having her in my life those few years and I'm pretty sure she never knew how many of us kids (Adults now) truly appreciated the things she did for us. Rest in Peace Darlene You were much loved!
