

He was a glasswork glazer.
Mr. Rowell was of the Seventh-day Adventist tradition of faith.
Survivors include two sons: Quinton Britton-Rowell and his fiancée, Charlotte Grant Crum, of Afton, and Dillon Rowell of Greeneville; his mother: Betty Sue Coffey and her husband, Fred, of Jonesborough; his father: John W. Rowell Sr. and his wife, Tammie, of Star, Miss.; three sisters: Letty Rochelle Coffey and her husband, Robert, of Katy, Texas, Bonnie Lynn White and her husband, Sam, of Jonesborough, and Ammie Nicole Rowell of New Hampshire; a brother: John William Rowell Jr. and his wife, Vidya, of Austin, Texas; one granddaughter: Nicole Marion of Bristol; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Belle Hastings and Gus and Ruby Rowell.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Arnall officiating.
