She was a hairdresser and a member of Greenelawn Baptist Church and also attended First Baptist Church.

Barbara was a star athlete. She was captain of the basketball team and loved to water ski. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of a bowling league for many years. She was also a huge Atlanta Braves fan.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Jacqueline and Marc Joseph of Johnson City; a son and daughter-in-law: Landon and Shirley Johnston of Greeneville; three grandchildren: Mackynzie Archer of Johnson City; Autumn Malone of Mosheim; Joe Watson of Nashville; her father: Rev. Lawrence Pack; one very special sister: Sandi Underwood of Greeneville; brother and sister-in-law: Eddie and Sue Pack of Rogersville; brother: Ronnie Pack of Morristown;

several nieces and nephews; special friends: Holly and Mary.

She was preceded in death by her husand, Richard H. Long; her mother, Elizabeth Pack; sister, Wanda Sumner.

The funeral service will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, August 28, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel.

Rev. Joey Tillery will officiate. Inurnment will follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
