

She retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center.
Ms. Scott was a member of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and attended University Parkway Baptist Church while her health permitted.
Survivors include her son: Jerry Allen Scott of Johnson City, with whom she resided; sister and brother-in-law: Gail and Charles Kay Russell of Gray, Tennessee; sister-in-law: Juanita Scott of Greeneville; brother-in-law: Roy Dean Scott of Greeneville; a very special nephew: Kaylon Russell and his wife, Tammy of Gray; a very special great niece: Savannah Russell of Gray; a very special nephew: Brandan Russell of Gray; special niece: Jane Bowman Richards of Nashville, Tennessee; special friends: Peggy Shelton, Barbara Livicy, Marty Barkley, Debby Ottinger of Greeneville, Michael Keith of Johnson City, and many others; and her special caregivers: Eleanor Williams, Laura Smith, and Robin Robinette.
She was the daughter of the late James Harmon and Lucy Seaton Harmon Davenport and stepfather, Cecil T. Davenport, and was preceded in death by her husband: Everette E. "Bunk" Scott, Jr.; a sister: Bertha Harmon Price; brother-in-law: Charles E. Price; brothers-in-law: Milburn Scott, Johnny Scott, Paul Scott, and Loyd Scott; and mother-in-law and father-in-law: Bessie and Everette Scott, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday in the funeral home chapel with Clergyman Chris Hugds and Rev. Dr. Mike Oakes officiating.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Teddy Price, Buddy Seaton, Guydean Seaton, Tim Hensley, Eric Price, Lynn Scott, Joe Bowman, Perry Feezell, Gregg Bowman, and Steve Laughlin.
