She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Peters was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her husband: Alvin Peters; two daughters: Amanda Banks and husband Kates of Midway and Tracy Gregg and fiancée Sammy Valentine of Midway; son: David Peters and wife Amber of Greeneville; four grandchildren: David and Carter Gregg, Addison and Leah Jane Peters; sister and brother-in-law: Wanda and Haskel Yates of Parrottsville; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Nickie and Brenda Partin of Greeneville and Arlow Partin of Mosheim; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew: Randy Partin.
She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Hazel Partin and was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Amedysis Hospice.
There will be a gathering of friends Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Whittenburg Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation or service.
