

Greeneville, TN - Beulah Ruth Seaton, a beloved member of the community and a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 88. She leaves behind a legacy of love and determination that will forever be remembered.
Beulah was born on July 5, 1934, in Greeneville, Tennessee, to Perry and Bonnie Davis, whose love and guidance shaped her into the woman she became. She attended Saint James High School, where she played basketball and graduated in 1953.
On September 22, 1956, Beulah married the love of her life, Earl Dean Seaton, who she worked alongside with at Magnavox for 22 years. Their union was a testament to the power of love and commitment, as they shared 52 wonderful years together. They were blessed with a son, Tony, who brought immense joy and pride to Beulah's life. She loved and supported him unconditionally, nurturing his dreams and celebrating his successes. Beulah found great happiness in watching Tony grow into the caring and accomplished physician, husband, and father he has become.
After her time at Magnavox, Beulah made the courageous decision to pursue her passion for hairdressing. She attended Sandra Dean School of Hair Design and later opened the Malibu Beauty Salon in Greeneville, which was a haven of warmth and laughter where she made several lifelong friends. She took great pride in her hairdressing career, which spanned over 45 years. She also took great pride in her two grandchildren, Bradley and Emily, whom she loved immensely and bragged about often.
Beulah is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dean Seaton; her parents, Perry and Bonnie Davis; her siblings, Charlie Davis, James Davis, Perry Davis Jr., Beatrice Davis, Pansy Williams, Leota Gregory, Mildred Peters, and Mayme Moore.
She is survived by her son, Anthony (Tony) and wife, Kathy, of Kingsport, TN; her sister, Lola Olson of Greeneville, TN; and her grandchildren, Bradley Seaton and wife, Alex, of Lakewood, CO; and Emily Murphy and husband, Jeffrey, of Belmont, NC.
Beulah’s departure from this world leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. A funeral service to honor Beulah's life will be held on Friday, June 16 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home in Greeneville, Tennessee, with Pastor Jeff Blake and Pastor Marvin Cameron officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2 with the service to immediately follow. A graveside service will follow at Greenelawn Memory Gardens, where Beulah will be buried next to her beloved Earl Dean.
