She was born September 24, 1945.
Brenda was a true servant of God. She was always taking care of others and showing God’s love. Anyone who had the opportunity to know her has been truly blessed. She was a member of Brown Springs Baptist Church in Mosheim and faithfully attended the first morning service. She was a member of the Dorcas/Peggy Helms Sunday School Class. She faithfully served on many positions in the church. She served as custodian of the church for over 20 years.
Left to cherish many beautiful memories are her loving husband of 56 years: Donald Clyde Lowery; her daughter and “best friend” and son-in-law: Roxanne and Kevin Knight; a gentle son and daughter-in-law: Jessie Ray and Kelle Lowery; devoted granddaughter and husband: Emily Lynette and Luke Wood; great grandsons: Collin Luke and Grant Paul Wood; caring granddaughter and husband: Breanna and Jeremy Hall; great grandson: Corbin Eli Hall; step-great grandchildren: Katelin and Kevin Knight, Tyler and Megan Rader, Korena and Sheldon Hall, Lane Lemons; sisters-in-law: Kathy Shipley, Barbara Johnson, Nannie Johnson, Charlene Johnson, and Bessie Lowery; several special nieces and nephews; special friends: Teena Murphy, the girls at Critters’ Corner, all her church family; and a special caregiver: Sue McGaha.
There to welcome her precious soul into Heaven were her parents, Eunice and Mary Johnson, and big brothers, Guy, Orville, and James “Carroll” Johnson. What a blessed reunion it must have been! She was also reunited with her daughter, Veronica Kaye Lowery Dotson, great granddaughter, Ava Miller, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Teddy and Lena Dell Lowery, and a brother-in-law, Claude Lowery. While we will miss her terribly, we know she is happy and we will see her next time in Heaven.
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held following visitation at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Richard Long will officiate.
