
He was a former employee of Kraft Food, a carpenter and a farmer.
He attended Campground Church of God and Flag Branch Church of God.
Survivors include his wife: Mazel Seaton; two sons and daughters-in-law: Ross Seaton of Afton, Bruce (Junior) and Nina Seaton of Greeneville; two grandchildren: James Hugh Seaton of Gray, TN and Nathan Seaton of Greeneville; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Ray Seaton, Robert and Willie Kate Seaton, and Donald and Jean Seaton; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Josephine Ball, Lavon and Joe Faulkner; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Perry and Lockie Seaton and was preceded in death by two sisters, Velena Wykle and Doris Seaton.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Ray Shelton and Chaplain Greg Barlow will officiate.
There will be a private interment in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
His honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Smokey Mountain Hospice, Linda Harris, Dr. Katherine Gray, and the staff at Senior Care at Takoma Regional Hospital.
