She was disabled.
She is survived by her mother: Frankie Higgins of Erwin; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Wayne and Mildred Higgins of Erwin and Ronnie Higgins of Texas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was the daughter of the late Bill Higgins.
There will be no formal visitation.
Family and friends are asked to meet at Evergreen Cemetery in Erwin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 for a graveside service. Rev. Bernie Jones will officiate.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Seminole House of Johnson City for their loving care.
