Carole Zurn

She was an office manager in the health care field.

Mrs. Zurn loved bowling, knitting, golf and was chairperson of a cystic fibrosis chapter in Colorado.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Valerie and David Haubrich of Greeneville; stepson: Michael Zurn of Franklin, NY; grandchildren: Carole Anne Nelen and husband, Adam, of Grove City, Pennsylvania, Philip Simons and wife, Bettie, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Shaun Zurn of California; great granddaughters: Alyssa Simons and Victoria Simons; sister and brother-in-law: Cheryl and Fred Kloosterman of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Philip and Wilma Hood and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert Zurn, Sr.; a son, Robert Zurn, Jr.; two sisters: Myra Albrecht and Beverly Shoaf; and one brother, Paul Hadden.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Ken Auer will speak.
