Carrie Mae Gosnell Morgan

She was a homemaker and attended Upper Paint Creek Church when her health permitted.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Gene and Marsha Gosnell of Greene County, Ronnie and Debby Gosnell of Chuckey, Orville Lee and Betty Gosnell of Greeneville; four daughters and one son-in-law: Bernice Rice Tweed, Sue Emma Griffey, Helen Lynn and Charlie Rice, and Barbara Harrison, all of Greeneville; grandchildren: Ray and Randy Rice, Michael and Kim Haney, Bradley Griffey, Angie and Jason Gosnell, Christy Mabe, Ben Gosnell, Jennifer Myers, Amie Landcaster, Robbie Mae Key, Johnny Lee Gosnell; great grandchildren: Michael Davis, Gavin, Collin, Hope, Faith, Patrick, Jared, McKayla, Cade, Chelsie, Trevor, Haylee, Addison, Tyler, Kendra, Cierra, Katelyn, Arrica, Brad, Braelyn, and Leandra; great great grandson: Kayden Davis; brother: Jonah Gosnell of Asheville, North Carolina; brother-in-law: Jessie Gosnell of Greeneville; step daughters: Shirley, Brenda, and Sue Ella; step son: Guy V. Morgan; several nieces and nephews; and special friends: Jessie Gosnell, Violet Ricker, Mary Brown, Rex Tweed, Dwight Roberts, and Steve Taylor.

She was the daughter of the late Jake and Lizzie Gosnell and was preceded in death by her husband: Johnny Gosnell; her second husband: Omer Morgan; two daughter: Vona Jane Cutshall and Carolyn Ann Morgan; son: Johnny Junior Gosnell; one granddaughter: Pamela Davis; three sisters: Mary, Laura, and Idumea; and two brothers: Ed and Harley Gosnell.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The body will remain at the funeral home until time to be taken to the church for the funeral service.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012 at Upper Paint Creek Church with Rev. Ray Shelton and Rev. Roger Stocton officiating.

Interment will follow in Upper Paint Creek Cemetery.

Her pallbearers will be Charles Rice, Ray Rice, Randy Rice, Ben Gosnell, Michael Haney, and Ronnie Gosnell.

Her grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
