

He retired from Aus-Tex.
Mr. Perry was a member of Mt. Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee and a dedicated Sunday School teacher for many years.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Raymond and Denise Perry of Chuckey; daughter: Marie Haun of Jonesborough; four grandchildren: Dale and wife Rebekah Perry, Cody Haun and wife Courtney, Sara Perry, and Callie Perry; two sisters: Goldie Adkins of Huntington, West Virginia, and Nellie Huggens of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Charley D. and Nanny Perry of Wayne, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years: Marlene; a brother: Garnet Dale Perry of Fort Gay, West Virginia; and a sister: Opal Ross of East Lynn, West Virginia.
The family will receive friends 6-9pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Dennis Daughtery and Rev. Alfred Cutshall officiating.
Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Starr, Tony Roe, Randy Roberts, Jerry Darnell, Jimmy Cutshall, and Jimmy Harrison.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Mt. Bethel FWB Church, Dr. Joseph Austin, and Dr. Stephen Flohr.
