

He was a member of Victory Church of God.
Mr. Solomon retired from Philips Consumer Electronics after 45 years of service. He also retried from A1 Auto Paint of Greeneville.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years: Violet Solomon; daughter and son-in-law: Penny and Rick Bible; daughter-in-law: Vicki Solomon; special granddaughter and grandson-in-law: Stacy and Phillip Cutshaw; special grandsons and granddaughters-in-law: Lance and Jennifer Solomon and Jonathan and Nichole Solomon; four great grandchildren: Chelsey Solomon, Dallas Solomon, Kaytelyn Solomon, and Lucas Cutshaw; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Kenneth and Linda Solomon and W.D. and Jana Solomon, all of Greeneville; special friend: Dave Byington; and special caregivers: Marcella Shelton and Margie Shelton.
He was preceded in death by a son: Rex Solomon; his parents: Ray and Launa Solomon; his brother and sister-in-law: R.J. and Dorothy Solomon; and his sister: Myral Solomon.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Fillers officiating.
Interment will be at 11am Monday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:30am Monday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lance Solomon, Jonathan Solomon, Phillip Cutshaw, and Dave Byington.
