Clinton Wilhoit age 78, of Greeneville, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center.

He retired from MECO.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years: Barbara “Jean” Wilhoit; son and daughter-in-law: Kent and Karen Wilhoit; granddaughter and spouse: Whitney and Josh Ricker; brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth and Nancy Wilhoit; sister-in-law: Mary Ann Wilhoit of Alabama; nephews: Mike (Lois) Wilhoit, and David Wilhoit; nieces: Pennie (Roger) Brown and Connie (Donald) Kilday; brother and sister-in-law: Sonny and Karlene Harrison; sister-in-law, Marie Johnson; several great nieces, great nephews and cousins; and a special family friend: Adell Hensley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Manieta Waddell Wilhoit; brother, Bobby “Bob” Wilhoit; and sister, Phyllis Ann Wilhoit.

There will be no formal visitation.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, at 3 pm at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Ray Shelton officiating. Family and friends should meet at 2 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to go in procession to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Honorary pallbearers will be his neighbors and former co-workers at MECO.
