She was an administrative assistant.
Survivors include her mother: E. Odell Thompson; sister: Denise Simpson; and her nieces and nephews: Jason and Pam Smith and Melissa Hughey.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Thompson, and her brother, Michael Thompson.
There will be a Gathering of Friends 6-8 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
