David Ray Hensley

He was employed by Phillips Batteries in South Carolina.

He loved to camp, fish, and read.

Survivors include a son: Eric Hensley of Wisconsin; a daughter: Tori Hensley, also of Wisconsin; four grandchildren; his mother that he loved very much: Carol Jean Hensley; one brother: Darrick Hensley of Rogersville; a very special sister: Tina Paxton; three step sisters: Jeanie Moore and husband, Randy; Sandy Ray and husband, Tony; and Tracy Ealey; two half sisters: Amy Buckner and husband, N. L.; Christy Carter and husband, Anthony; a very special aunt: Mary J. Banner;

several other aunts and uncles including: Lucy and Ray Taylor, Willie and Linda Setser; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends: Cindy Carter, Tammy Stephenson.

He was the son of the late Raven Hensley.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 Tuesday, February 22, 2011, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel.

Rev. David Dugger will officiate.

At his request, the body is to be cremated. The family will receive friends 5-6 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home.
