Don E. Kelley

He was a retired employee of Altrista Zinc Products.

Mr. Kelley was of the Baptist tradition of faith.

His hobby was woodworking and spending time with his grandson.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Donna and Roger Jaynes of Chuckey; one grandson: Cody Jaynes; several cousins; special friends: Alvin Sexton, Charles Ottinger, Norman Collette, Phillip Brantley, Marty Fletcher, Elbert Kinser, Lynn Bowers, and Jackie Darnell.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dola Lee Jones, and his stepfather, Fennell Jones.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2011, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Doug Jennings

will officiate. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Charles Ottinger, Vincent Tweed, Cody Jaynes, Alvin Sexton, Marty Fletcher, Phillip Brantley, and Lynn Bowers.

Jackie Darnell will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to meet at 2:45 p.m. Monday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
