Dorothy K. Cobble Lowe

Mrs. Lowe was a homemaker.

She was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, the Kathleen Hutton Sunday School Class, and the Pine Grove UMW, where she served as an officer for several years.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Ann and Johnny Birdwell and Lynda and Haskell Bowman of Greeneville; a granddaughter and three grandsons and their spouses: Johnene and Cameron Spradlin, Wesley and Chastity Birdwell, Patrick and Brandy Birdwell, and Charles and Rachel Bowman; great grandchildren: Ethan Spradlin, Mia Kate Spradlin, Hayden Birdwell, Brooklyn Tweed, and Samantha Birdwell, all of Greeneville; two sisters-in-law: Ora Van Cobble of Talbott and Claudia Lowe of Kingsport; one brother-in-law and his wife: Ed and Betty Lowe of Midway; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her special friends: Faye Gregg, Shirley and Claude Hurd, Irene, Patricia, and Joyce Clowers, Pauline Inscore, and her many church friends and neighbors.

She was the daughter of the late Roy and Myrtle Cobble, and was preceded in death by her husband, Roman Lowe; and four brothers: John Lloyd cobble, Denver Cobble, Howard Cobble, and Blaine Cobble.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The body will remain at the funeral home until time to be taken to the church for the services.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Fain officiating.

Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Her pallbearers will be Wesley Birdwell, Patrick Birdwell, Charles Bowman, Johnene Spradlin, Cameron Spradlin, and Ethan Spradlin.

Claude Hurd, Dean Crum, Scottie Knight, Buford Davis, Buddy Luttrell, Don Henry, David Henry, Jim Henry, Hank Huff, Donald Ray Inscore, Jimmy Inscore, and members of the Kathleen Hutton Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
