

Dovina was a member of the Church of Christ for the past 40 years, where she often taught children’s classes or served in other capacities. She retired from Signature Health Care after 30 years where she was placed in Signature’s Hall Fame, as a result, of her dedication and hardwork. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, friend, and servant of God.
Survivors include her father and stepmother: Frank Smith and Deane Smith of Newport; two sons and two daughter-in-laws: Brian and Christina Johnson and Timothy Johnson and Linda Garza; grandchildren: Benjamin Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Dillon Hipsher, Delylah Castro, Leslie Castro, Joelind Castro, and Jaileen Castro; great-grandchildren: Sofia Nicole Martinez, Carlos Joan Martinez, and Micaela Yisel Cedillo; brother: Doug Smith of Charleston, South Carolina; and niece: Kayla Smith of Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernell Head Smith, and her husband, Tommy Johnson.
The family will receive friends 11 am to 2 pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Ralph Clevinger officiating.
Interment will follow on Friday in Shiloh Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will include gentlemen from the Greeneville Church of Christ.
