Eliza "Liz" Mae Byington Hale

She was a homemaker.

She was of Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Linda Joy and Gene Reyna; sons and daughters-in-law: Kelly Allen Hale, Tony Glen and Tera Hale and Gary Edwin and Michelle Hale; grandchildren: Sherry Pope, Tony L. Hale, Jessica Hale, Shane Hale, Samantha Fry, Sierra Hale, Lacy Thomas, Courtney Hale, Isaac Phillips, John Michael, and Jo Jo and Cheyenne Hale; great grandchildren: Alanna Bradley, Gabriel Pope, Noelia Mendez, Savannah Rose, Kylie Fry and Ethan Pope; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Jean Ketron and husband, Joe and Mary Phillips and husband, Sherill; two brothers: Hubert Earl Byington and William David Byington; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Alpha Byington and was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. Hale; two daughters, Melissa Robin Hale and Judy Kay Hale; grandson, Christopher Allen Hale, great-grandson, Anthony Jovani Pope; two brothers, Bud and Grady Byington; and two sisters, Sue Mason and Nannie Thomas.

The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm Friday, September 26, 2014 at Kiser- Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lee Knowles officiating.

Interment will be at 2 pm Saturday, September in M.C. Free Community Cemetery in Natural Tunnel, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Johnnie Pope, Derek Fry, Gene Reyna, Gary Hale, Tony Hale, Shane Hale, and Matt Tomlinson.
