Emma Jean Johnson

She was a retired Registered Nurse.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was born in Vanndale, AR, and was the daughter of the late Arkie King and Tollie Woodson.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Gary and Deborah Johnson of Midway, TN; Bill and Vangie Johnson of Lapeer, MI; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four brothers: Luther “JR” King of Memphis, TN; Harold Bo King of Arkansas; Leon King of Memphis; Odis King of Memphis; three sisters: Viola King of Clio, MI; Joyce King of Mississippi; Lois King of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Thomas H. Johnson and

several brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at First Baptist Church of Greeneville, TN.

Rev. Dr. David Green will officiate.

There will be no formal visitation. The body is being returned to Steele, Missouri for services and interment.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
