

He attended Victory Church of God. He was an avid ham radio operator, as well as, a published author.
Mr. Vanhoose was one of ten Master Opticians beginning at TI in Dallas, TX, as a young man. He retired from his own optic shop, SPEC Precision Optics, which he and Louise built for 21 years.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Vanhoose; his daughters: Vanessa (Keith) Grady, Valicia Vanhoose, Valerie (Johnny) Hodge, and Velvet Vanhoose; stepsons: Terry (Judy) Jones and Russell Jones; stepdaughters: Debra L. Jones; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; brother, Hugh Dean (Becky) Vanhoose; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Alan) Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hulan and Jessie Jewel Vanhoose; a brother, who was killed in Korea, Clarence Lloyd; a sister: Joni Reese Booker; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Wayne and Delona Parton, Bobby Parton, Patricia and Johnny Cantrell and Carolyn Parton Bradshaw.
There will be no formal services.
