

He touched many lives throughout all East Tennessee, ministering over 63 years, to young and old, rich and poor. He never met a stranger. Pastoring people was his life, and he loved telling people about Jesus.
He pastored several churches in Tennessee, Nebraska, and Louisiana, and was a member of West Side Church of God.
Rev. Davis served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his faithful loving wife of 65 years: Helen Arrowood Davis; a son and daughter-in-law: David and Glenda Davis of Knoxville; a daughter and son-in-law: the Rev. Rick and Susan Bradbury of Morristown; his grandsons and wives: Daniel and Kristen Davis of Telford, Paul and Whitney Bradbury of Knoxville, and John and Shannon Bradbury of Rutledge; his great-grandchildren: Zeke, Caleb, Noah, Asaph, Joel, Corrie, and Phillip.
He was a son of the late Jake and Mary Tolley Davis and was preceded in death by a great-grandson: Patrick Bradbury; three brothers: Ray, Clyde, and Ernest; and three sisters: Etta Moore, Rachel Jackson, and Hazel Browder.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
On Thursday, the body will be taken to Russellville Church of God, where the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., preceding the home going celebration at 7 p.m. The Rev. Tracy Colley, the Rev. Gene Penland, and Tony Winkler will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m.
His pallbearers will be Daniel Davis, Paul Bradbury, John Bradbury, Bobby Flowers, Anthony Macey, and Brian Davis.
