He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Burettia Jean Evans; son, Terry Evans; daughter, Tammy Bloom; grandchildren, Sydney Bloom and Evan Bloom; sister, Margaret Lafoon (Louis); two nieces; and a special aunt, Carrie Crowder.
Mr. Evans was preceded in death by parents, Avery Evans and mother, Naza Maples; sister, Janice Evans; two brothers, Billy Evans and Ricky Evans.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1 – 2 pm at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm in the chapel with Rev. Bob Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are family and friends.
